Meet David Walker
David Walker brings more than 40 years of award-winning leadership experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including service as Comptroller General of the United States and CEO of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) for nearly a decade. A former practicing CPA and Distinguished Visiting Professor at the U.S. Naval Academy, he has advised senior government officials and led major organizational transformation and accountability initiatives in the United States and internationally. He received presidential appointments from Presidents Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and Clinton, each confirmed unanimously by the U.S. Senate, and has served in prominent roles including Public Trustee for Social Security and Medicare and Chair of the United Nations Independent Audit Advisory Committee.
