Contribution rules
1. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
2. I am at least eighteen years old.
3. I am not a federal contractor.
4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
5. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Campaign finance law requires us to collect your occupation and employer information. Please enter your job title or profession under “Occupation” and the name of your employer under “Employer.” If you are not currently employed, self-employed, an independent contractor, or retired, please follow the instructions below.
Self-employed: enter your own name under Employer (do not enter ‘self’ or ‘self-employed’).
Independent contractor: enter job title or profession under Occupation; for Employer enter (1) the name of your principal client, or (2) the field of business activity of your principal client.
Not employed but maintain an active professional license: enter your profession under Occupation and ‘Not employed’ under Employer.
Not employed or retired: enter ‘N/A’ under Occupation and ‘Not Employed’ under Employer.
Contributions are not tax deductible.
State law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $50 in an election cycle. The maximum contribution is $6,800 per election.
